​Introducing Lavelle Coleman

My name is Lavelle Coleman. I am 17 and as an upcoming graduate from East High school I often get this question - Who are you?  Until now, I didn’t necessarily know how to answer this question because that response changed ever since I realized that I didn't have much time left in high school. My honest answer to that question is, I am a student from East High school who chooses family over everything. The reason that I feel this way toward my family compared to myself back in 9th grade is because as I got older and matured over the years I learned that there are kids out there that are less fortunate than I am so I would hate myself to regret having family members.
 
I'm always looking forward to a better future and I'll do anything to get it. I plan to go to college and major in the study of biology for about 4 years. For now I'll do whatever I can to achieve this goal and refuse to accept the bare minimum for myself.
