​Is Graduating Early a Good Option for Students?

Some people want to graduate early but why? Maybe because they want to start their career early or join the military. Sometimes people hate school and that's the biggest reason someone would want to graduate early. But leaving school early can be bad because some people don't know what to do and students will miss social activities like prom, pep rallies, and homecoming. Everyone has their own perspective, but in my opinion students should wait to graduate. I think they are rushing to get to their dreams too fast and not enjoying high school experiences.
 
Mrs. Blocker says there are students graduating early this year because they have 22 credits and 5 Regents exams. In her perspective, she thinks students that graduate early must be prepared for college. She says some students that want to graduate early want to go into the military or armed forces. 
 
I like my senior year for many reasons. I have 5 Regents exams completed so I can concentrate on earning the rest of my credits. I also can make time in my schedule for classes like home and repair and drivers ed. I am looking forward to going to college, but I’m going to enjoy my high school years.
