During this time of the year, you hear the sound of bells, the laugh of families eating and telling stories and enjoying time together. You see houses shining with many colors. Although Christmas happens once a year, it’s a time when families come together and sit around a table and enjoy a variety of food. When you walk outside you can see the beauty of the houses shining with lights, and the Christmas songs playing in the stores as you walk in. This season is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year not because families come from different places and visit each other, but in this time of the year when Christians believe a King was born, a King of Mercy, who intercedes for us between the Father in heaven. He is the one who died and was risen and is to come. Christians believe the savior of the humanity was born at this time of the year, the one and the only one that can save our souls if people get to know him. Most people have heard about Jesus, and the question of “Do you want to declare Jesus Christ as your savior?” One of the ways we answer is “Not now, I’m okay the way I’m living.” The word of God declares that “He arrives on time.” This means that if you hear about Jesus and people that talk to you about Him, don’t close your doors to Him, that for some reason He had to knock on your door to save your life on time. This Christmas be reminded that you are in this world for a purpose and remember to be grateful for who you are and where you stand, and what you have. Jesus gave His life for me and for you to be where we are now, so appreciate of what you have. And remember that Christmas is not just presents but that Jesus was born at this time and went to heaven and is to come soon. Ready your heart this Christmas season.
