By Hunter White Going to East High School since the 10th grade has opened me up to better opportunities for my future and as a person. Although COVID-19 ruined my senior year, I made it. I’m still happy to graduate and move on to the next chapter of my life which is going to Saint John Fisher College to major in Computer Science. It's been a tough ride through high school but I made it. The memories of high school that I will always remember are football, track and wrestling. Sports were the most positive thing for me in my high school experience. I thank my coaches and my teachers that have supported me throughout high school and it will be sad to see them go. As I move from high school I have more responsibilities as I have to deal with the real world. I have to make my own choices and I have to take care of myself. I encourage all future students to make the best of what you have and the opportunities and privileges that you are given. High school will go by quick, and you may say that you won't miss high school but you will. You will miss being on a set schedule from 8am to 3:25pm, you will miss coming to school late just to get some food, you will miss not having to worry about the real world and most importantly you will miss being a teenager. There will be times in your life where you have to let go and move on to something greater, something different and the next chapter in your life where you have more responsibilities and you have to make a living for yourself. The end of high school is just the beginning.
