Are you a senior, thinking of going to college? Senior days are workshops to help all seniors with college research and applications. Senior days are on Mondays and Wednesdays after school at the U of R from 3pm to 6pm. These days are for researching colleges and starting on the application process; also to help you with your personal statement. East High student, Dennis Olmedo says, “These senior days help me save time and make the right decision for college; it is totally worth it. So more people should attend.” I too have a personal experience being there. I have started to look at more colleges that had my interest. I have started my personal statement for colleges and have done a lot of research on new colleges than just the one near me. If you want to know more about senior days then talk to the Upward Bound advisors at the College Prep Center in B110.

This sounds like such a great resource! I hope many take advantage of it. It could open doors that folks never even knew were there. Thanks for sharing it with your peers and also with staff members who can pass the information along and encourage scholars to participate.
