My name is C’morra. I am a sophomore. I cheer for the East varsity team. I have been cheering since I was 7 years old but this is my first time cheering for the school and it is a fun experience. During my freshman year having school virtually it was really hard for me and it was a big change; it was something I was not expecting at all. Ever since middle school I always used to think when I entered high school it's going to be this whole new fun but challenging world, something like a movie. Of course now that I'm actually here, yes it's challenging but it's not really the movie I was hoping for. But if I was in one I would love to be the free spirited character who has a great energy and soul, that once you’re around me you feel all positive things and energetic. I say this because I love making others feel good and I just hate all negativity so for me trying to take some of that away with my presence will make me feel really good. You ask “Who are you?” and to be honest I really don't know yet. I'm still a 15 year old girl who's finding herself. So for me not knowing who I am, I wanted to at least ask my girlfriend to give me 3 and more adjectives to describe me. She came up with sympathetic and that makes so much sense because I care so much about the people who have always been there for me so I will make sure I always have their backs. Another word she came up with was honest. Honesty is such a big one for me because my grandad used to be an honest person so I promised myself to always speak the truth after he passed. I hate liars so for me to lie to others is very hypocritical. One last thing she said is I am a passionate person: once I love something so much I just can’t stop talking about it. For me my passion is for fashion; I just love it so much because you can express yourself in many different colors or layers and different styles and then add cute accessories. You’re just explaining how you feel and who you are as a person. I appreciate my girlfriend helping me out with adjectives to say because sometimes you have to see yourself from other people's point of view and you might be surprised about how they see you.

Oh my, you are such a good writer! Your enthusiasm is really well captured in your sentences, which is not easy to do. I love that you know your passion and hope you can write about it specifically. For example, as an older woman, I'd love to read about what is "in" now and especially, what is "out," because honestly, I can't keep track. And also, what things are "in" but only for say people under 21.... There's a universe of things you can write about fashion - can't wait to read you.

Thank you so much i really do try and put emotion in my writings but sometimes thats hard because my brain is thinking about so much all the time so its hard to put down everything. I totally understand what you mean because the fashion trends changed alot since back then but to be honest its all coming back, you know the early 2000s had the best outfits so nowadays you'll see baggy jeans and baggy shirts or lowrise jeans and tight shirts everybody is going for the y2k aesthetic including me

I enjoyed reading this. I think your friend summarized very well who you are as a person. I appreciate your genuineness in struggling with the ups and downs of the last couple years and your transition to high school. You seek to find a healthy perspective as you navigate the challenges that come your way. Stay positive, kind, and compassionate - it will take you a ways!
