By Jamel Brown In Rochester this is a problem between people who live normal lives and are trying to get through their day or have a good time and the people who decide to make bad choices and ruin or inconvenience someone else’s time intentionally or not. My topic is about the people’s actions that ruin the experience for everyone. For example certain people seem to think that just because you protest, that it is going to be violent because of the actions of others who ruined the perception of protests. I think that there are people working towards getting a positive point out to people and these things were able to happen because nobody had a thought that certain actions are to be expected like looting, but the most important part is how people react to the event vs the intentions. This topic is important to me because I feel like ruining other people’s experiences by being selfish doesn’t do much for yourself or anyone for that matter, making life more difficult for everyone involved. There isn’t much change in the world for this problem because there are different rules and ways to understand people so people have different opinions about the action.

Jamel, this is a really important topic. I am not 100% sure I get your point. However, you are working toward something important and when you get clear about just what you want to say, this will be an original topic and perspective. Are you saying people who use violence ruin the power of peaceful protests?
