Are you interested in attending college after high school? Students in their last year of a high school start preparing for college applications regarding their interest based on their future career with help provided from the school district. The College Prep-center and Hillside here in East High School are two of the many programs that help students get a start on preparation for college. Many of us know that college applications have due dates and seniors have limited time to apply to their dream college. Some students are involved in both programs since they find marvelous resources that accommodate you in the process. East High student Nagely Perez observed that students sometimes have their school schedule full so they don’t have time for a visit to the center. “College Prep-Center and Hillside are great places to get help in getting a start on college. The program workers follow up on you to see what you need and they try to find a way to help you out in an easier way,” said Perez. In addition, the diverse amount of adults in the programs can come up to you during lunch, support, family group or any excused period you might have if you have a full schedule. Thank you for telling others about the importance of college fairs. And thanks for writing about the College Prep Center!
