National Poetry Month

​In 1996 the Academy of American poets dedicated April to celebrate poetry to raise awareness and appreciation for writing. Whether you use it as a way to cope with something you're going through, a release of anger, or a celebration of happiness, poetry can be used for just about anything that you can think of.
