The NFL has hosted the Super Bowl for 52 years. It is the last game of the season then after players get a little break for about a month or 2 then are soon back to get ready for off season training that lasts until the pre-season starts. Then soon regular season begins.
Players work extremely hard to become the best player they can be at their positions to be able to defeat every other team and try to make their way to be able to play in the Super Bowl. The latest Super Bowl champions are the Eagles who just recently beat the Patriots 41-33 in the 52nd Super Bowl. It was the first Super Bowl they have ever won.
The Eagles came to the Super Bowl as the underdogs and many believed they were going to be blown out by the Patriots who had won the Super Bowl last year. The Patriots also has 4 other championship wins in 2015, 2005, and 2004. The Patriots are known for having a good team and a consistently good record.
Even though the Eagles had a great season 2017-18 going 12-3 before the Super Bowl they still had many doubters and people who didn’t believe that they will be able to beat the Patriots and win their first ever championship. The Philadelphia Eagles made a statement and proved many wrong and went out Sunday night and made history for their fans and city by defeating the Patriots in front of the million fans who watch every year.
